At the end of CAPETAV 2012, the hunting, fishing and skeet shooting exhibition, Federcaccia Umbra and the association's initiatives met with great success.
A real success for the Federcaccia Umbra stand at Ca.Pe.Tav. 2012, the Bastia Umbra hunting, fishing and clay shooting exhibition market. The main hunting association, present in full with its regional and provincial cadres, received a visit from the national vice president Massimo Buconi and a real sea of members and supporters at its stand.
The main topics among the questions addressed to the Fidc managers were the hunting calendar for the 2012-13 season, currently under approval, the hunting in derogation and, above all, the many research projects currently in place by the Italian Federation of Hunting. These projects concern the most important species of migratory game of hunting interest, the results of which will soon allow the hunting world to be able to sit at the technical table on an equal footing with the institutions, that is, being able to count on a range of scientific data on basis on which to discuss each hunting calendar.
This is the only way, according to the national line of Federcaccia - but also according to the general trend of the other European states -, to keep hunting a sustainable activity in the third millennium, which can play that role of governance of the territory and faunal balance indispensable for the correct use of the environment by all the interested parties.
