The opening to the possibility of moving between municipalities in orange regions for the control and hunting of wild boar, both in selection and in hunted, and even the opening to interregional movements for the control of wild boar in Red zone regions proves once again that the Government position on hunting it is only and only politics. There is no scientific or medical basis for which it is forbidden to move (from the municipality or even from home) to go hunting, an activity that takes place mostly alone and with the obligation to stay at least 100 meters from buildings and 50 meters from roads!
But if we talk about wild boar and possible damage then everything becomes possible. Then you notice the hunters, but only the "necessary" ones, the "useful" ones. But are runners, golfers and cyclists, or hobby horticulturists "necessary"? They are useful"? Or how do hunters just engage in a legitimate and sustainable outdoor activity? And does the Covid risk change according to the species hunted?
The answer of the Lombard hunting world, faced with yet another mockery, should be only one: hunting is hunting, and we will hunt EVEN the wild boar when we will be able to leave the house or move between municipalities to exercise our - paid - passion in the times, ways and species foreseen by the hunting calendar.
