A request was presented and filed - the first signatories were the members of the Parliamentary Commission for the general direction and supervision of the radio and television services Bergesio, Coin, Fusco, Maccanti, Pergreffi and Tarantino, joined by the honorable Bruzzone, Golinelli and Patelli addressed to the concessionaire company for the public radio and television service, or RAI, to find out if the management of the same is aware of what happened during the Sapiens broadcast on RAI 3 of last June 11 and if he considers in his opinion "compatible this misleading way of communicating with the responsibilities and tasks of the public service".

QUESTION TO THE DEALER COMPANY
To know that,
in the episode of last June 11 of the show "Sapiens" the conductor Mario Tozzi attacked the hunting activity several times, establishing a completely misleading parallelism between it and the hateful practice of poaching and thereby seriously damaging the image of hunters.
The professor. Tozzi is currently Senior Researcher at the National Research Council (Institute of Environmental Geology and Geoengineering), he has dealt with the geological evolution of the central-eastern Mediterranean, studying the deformations of the rocks. Today he mainly deals with scientific dissemination and the transfer of CNR research results.
The conductor, forgetting his role as a CNR researcher, during the broadcast exhibited data on the legal hunting of wild animals in Italy that were completely imaginative, detached from reality and devoid of any informative value.
The professor. Tozzi has entirely spuriously avoided informing the public about the competences of the Bodies delegated by law to collect data from sampling, which are the Regions, ISPRA and the European Commission DGXI.
The conductor has also culpably avoided informing the public that there are official European publications that collect the sampling data, collected by ISPRA, and presented in the Report on Article 12 of Directive 147/2009 / EC, visible on the website of the European agency for the environment (EEA).
The professor. Furthermore, Tozzi indulged in personal considerations, disseminating them as certain data collected from surveys, without however mentioning what they were.
The conductor has, again, provided unsuspecting viewers with figures on hunting, completely groundless, arguing that in Italy about 464 million animals are killed (773 per hunter) also in this case without citing any source.
Lastly, it should be noted that the researcher first spoke of poachers as serial killers and immediately afterwards of hunters who are anachronistic by introducing video contributions deliberately aimed at generating in the viewer an artful representation of the hunting activity, comparing an illegality such as poaching to an activity strictly regulated and strongly controlled like hunting, seriously damaging the image of hunters.
given the seriousness of the reported fact, the concession holder is asked:
whether the RAI management is aware of what is stated in the introduction and whether this misleading way of communicating with the responsibilities and tasks of the public service is considered compatible;
