The first regional council of the Sardinian Federcaccia of the 2019-2024 cycle was held on Saturday 4 May at the provincial headquarters of Nuoro. Many topics were discussed and debated for hours on a large agenda. The regional president, the lawyer Davide Bacciu, (who expressed satisfaction with the active participation of all the representatives of the territories) among other things communicated the contents of the meeting held a few weeks ago with the regional councilor Dr. Gianni Lampis.
A first meeting, certainly positive, which we hope will be followed by measures aimed at making people acquire again the role of hunting within the political debate and that, in practice, they are acts capable of protecting the hunting world from the inevitable punctual recourses of the usual suspects.
Federcaccia Sardegna will certainly be at the side (developing serious and concrete proposals) of all political exponents and representatives of regional, national and European institutions who will finally want to give a clear and unequivocal signal of attention to the hunting world, actively intervening on the current legislation, and giving effect to what, although provided for by the current rules (read for example the capture and repopulation of the noble sedentary or the establishment of the Regional Institute of Wildlife) over the years it has not been realized.
