The hunting and agricultural world often decide to join forces to achieve a common goal. An emblematic case is that of Zoppola, Friulian municipality in the province of Pordenone, in which the hunters invited farmers to report the damage caused by nutria. As reported by the Messaggero Veneto, a leaflet was posted to speed up the interventions, given that after the involvement of the Province, the times have increased.
The local hunting reserve is in contact with the Forest Guard of Friuli Venezia Giulia and in this case too, a contribution is expected to solve the problem once and for all. In fact, in addition to the interest of the hunting world, the positions were lacking. This part of Friuli is full of streams, so the otters can proliferate easily, even if the current situation is called the worst ever.
Farmers hope that the felling operations will start soon: initially only the Forestry should be involved, then there will be a second phase that it will also involve hunters. A joint intervention with another neighboring municipality, that of Fiume Veneto (always in the Pordenone area), affected by a similar emergency.
