Province of Rome: Ok from the Provincial Council for the Hunting Surveillance Service
The Provincial Council of Rome unanimously approved, in this morning's session, the Regulations for the voluntary hunting surveillance service. With the Regulations, also approved with the unanimous consent of the Provincial Wildlife Hunting Technical Committee, the Giunta Zingaretti gives life to an important coordination tool for the control of the territory, to ensure proper and responsible hunting. The control volunteers are about 800 and will be coordinated by the Hunting Service of the Province of Rome in collaboration with the Provincial Police.
"This is - explains the provincial councilor for Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing Policies, Aurelio Lo Fazio - an act of particular importance because it combines the need to attribute the right importance of the important actions of volunteering with the needs of programming and planning of the same activities by the provincial administration in the control of the territory, also and above all for anti-poaching purposes ".
"All this - concludes Lo Fazio - becomes even more important, since we will soon give life to the Provincial Wildlife Hunting Plan, also this very valuable territory management tool to provide adequate answers to the varied hunting and production needs of the province of Rome" .
