Hunting and Fauna: Caserta, the Province has carried out 700 hares in sixty municipalities for wildlife restocking.
In recent days, the Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing Sector of the Province of Caserta has completed the program for the introduction of 700 breeding hares, which involved 60 Municipalities of Terra di Lavoro that fall within the territories eligible for wildlife vocation.
The tender procedure is now underway for the purchase and placing on the territory, by the end of March, of 8000 breeding pheasants (ratio of 1 male and 3 females), as well as 2000 partridges (ratio of one male and a female).
The operations of placing the hares on the territory, purchased with the funds deriving from the regional concession fees paid by about 10 thousand Caserta hunters, were handled and followed at every stage by the provincial councilor Domenico Carrillo, delegated to hunting.
The wildlife restocking program initiated by the Province of Caserta is enjoying the satisfaction of the provincial hunting associations, which have expressed their gratitude to the President of the Province, Domenico Zinzi, recognizing his concrete commitment in favor of Terra di Lavoro hunters.
