Senator Carrara replies to the letter sent to all parliamentarians by the CRCA regarding the problems that have arisen around the recent legislative changes regarding the license of firearms.
Today, 21 February 2012, Senator Valerio Carrara wished to respond to the letter sent to all parliamentarians by Enzo Brosio, President of CRCA, Civiltà Rurale Caccia e Ambiente, regarding the problems that arose around the legislative changes concerning art .42 of the TULPS and in particular the validity of the firearms permit for hunting and skeet shooting.
The note from Senator Carrara reads, "I respond to CRCA's appeal, hoping that after me, other parliamentarians who have repeatedly declared themselves close to the hunting world, will act accordingly".
CRCA asked with its own letter to deputies and senators to intervene as soon as possible to "solve the problem that has arisen regarding the duration of firearms licenses for hunting and skeet shooting with the approval of the Decree Law of 09 February 2012 number 5 - urgent provisions on simplification and development ".
Continuing the senator perplexed, "I wonder what role hunting and trade associations play to protect the rights and interests of their members. The hunter citizen is once again burdened with a burden that is not matched in Europe. That Europe so much evoked by the Premier and the Government ”.
Finally Carrara concludes by committing himself, "I intend to speak with the Rapporteur of the provision and, if necessary, directly with the Minister of the Interior for a review of the decree through its amendment ".
