The "team" wild boar hunt started today, Sunday 16 October, in the province of Ascoli Piceno as foreseen by the "Regional Hunting Calendar".
A meeting was held in the Province in recent days at the offices of the Natural Resources Service between the team leaders, the district heads, the representatives of the hunting associations, chaired by the Councilor for Hunting and Fishing, Aleandro Petrucci, and to whom he attended by dr. Antonio Olivastri as representative of the ASUR 13.
The Region was invited by the Province to give precise indications on the type of sanction, whether criminal or administrative, which must be imposed in the event of non-compliance by transgressors of the Regional Law n.7 / 95 according to which following some amendments provides that the wild boar hunting it can be held only for team battles and no longer in single form.
Pending a precise response from the Region with a new regulatory discipline, the management of ungulates, in particular the boar, remains entrusted to the provincial regulations in force.
Councilor Petrucci thus commented on the meeting in the Province, "It was a precious opportunity for dialogue and discussion not only to deepen the main problems and urgencies, but also to reiterate the importance of carefully following all the rules of safety, health and hunting ethics in order to avoid unnecessary risks ".
At the end of the meeting, the participants were given technical material, including authorization, floor plan, irremovable bands to be affixed to the knocked down garments and joke reports, hoping that the new hunting season can continue under the banner of respect for nature and above all the safety of all hunters or in any case participants in the jokes that amount to over 900 people divided into thirty teams.
