The president of the regional section of Marche ofArch Hunting, Gabriele Sperandio, commented on the draft hunting calendar for what concerns the 2019-2020 season. Here is what you can read in the note of the hunting association: “This Association intends to express its perplexity about the contents of the document to be approved.
Arci Caccia Marche has already highlighted, in the calendar proposal sent to the Marche Region on 21 January 2019, the need to approve, for the current season, a balanced calendar, attentive not only to hunting policy needs, but also to the conservation and management ones of wildlife. As suggested, also in the light of what happened in the past Hunting Season, in which, the approval of a little concerted calendar between the social partners, has favored appeals with consequences, for hunters, known to us.
We therefore ask that it be approved for the 2019/2020 Hunting Season a more "prudent" hunting calendar which takes into account Community directives, which aims at a collective interest (of the fauna, the environment and all hunters) and which allows hunting activities in compliance with the rules allowing the Marche hunters to exercise their right in peace. The Association considers itself as of now, if the hunting activity for the 2019/2020 season is suspended or limited for causes due to the approval of acts contrary to the law, free to act in order to protect the rights of the Marche hunters.
