The Regional Councilor of the Northern League presented an interpellation to the President of the Liguria Region Claudio Burlando and his council, also signed by the group leader Maurizio Torterolo and by the Councilor Edoardo Rixi, concerning the "Application of article 9 of the Community Directive 147/2009 CEE - Hunting in derogation ".
"In relation to the relations between the Liguria Region and Ispra, with particular reference to the meeting that took place on 10 September 2014 at the Ozzano Emilia headquarters, and to the related outcomes to date that cannot be found", the document reads, "considered that the hunting levy in derogation for some species, including the canceled, is to be considered a priority based on the principle of sustainable harvesting of bird populations and species in good and / or excellent state of health and conservation "and considered that" the exclusion of the starling, and also of other species, from the list of those that can be hunted is unsustainable, antitechnical and primary example of Italian-European irrationality ”, Francesco Bruzzone and the other two regional councilors of the Carroccio question the Governor Burlando and the Regional Council.
“What was the purpose of the meeting held in Ozzano Emilia on 10 September 2014?” Asks Bruzzone. "Furthermore, for what reasons, if the real intention of the regional council had been to provide for the exceptions in Liguria, the meeting was held so late, knowing full well that the law on the subject of the Italian State provides that the provisions of derogation must they be adopted by an administrative act at least 60 days before the date indicated as the start of the withdrawal? If they had this interest, they should have gone to hold such a meeting first. Or perhaps there is a lack of political will to seriously address the issue ”.
