The Province of Milan supports the hunters and at the Federcaccia assembly affirms that the "passion for hunting is always respectful of the environment".
The president of the Province of Milan, Guido Podestà, attended the provincial assembly of the Italian Federation of Hunting stating: “I consider the world of hunting associations to be one of the active subjects in the enhancement of the territory and of the“ green ”heritage.
Continuing, the president explained, "The actions we have undertaken in support of this sector show how hunting, a passion of many Italians, is capable of respecting, unlike other subjects, the environmental context in which it operates".
From the Province comes the confirmation of a convinced support for the hunters category with various initiatives starting with the qualification of about 200 new hunters and with the agreement stipulated with the University of Milan for the forthcoming realization of specific courses dedicated to selection hunting. Furthermore, the new Provincial Territorial Coordination Plan has made it possible to reduce the percentage of land consumption by more than 30%.
Concluding his speech at the assembly, Podestà said, “We inherit the land from the parents, but rent it from the children”.
