Hunting: Piacenza, Provincial Hunting Calendar 2014-2015; the Hunting Season opens on 21 September 2014; Ghilardelli, “Greater protection for hares and attention to the safety of hunters”.
The Provincial Council of Piacenza has adopted the Provincial hunting calendar for the 2014/2015 season. The day to mark for fans is Sunday 21 September with the advance on the opening of the wild boar hunt (which will therefore end on 21 December). "The calendar, shared with the Faunal Council - Hunting and the components of the provincial ATCs, - explains the provincial councilor for wildlife protection Manuel Ghilardelli - substantially maintains the structure of last year, with a view to simplifying procedures and greater transparency in hunting activity ". The innovations introduced, including greater openness to dogs, are aimed on the one hand at the protection of species in more critical conditions: "In particular for the hare, a species in strong decline - recalls Ghilardelli - the irremovable bands have been introduced and a single provincial overall seasonal game bag of four hares per hunter is foreseen, regardless of the number of Atc he is enrolled in ”. "On the other hand, strong attention has been paid to safety issues, introducing the obligation for hunters to wear a high-visibility garment".
Hunting in provincial ATCs is allowed from 21 September, with the exception of Gray Partridge (prohibited in all ATCs), with some restrictions relating to hunting hare, pheasant (both allowed until 30 November) and red partridge. The training and training of hunting dogs is allowed from 17 August to 18 September from 7 to 20, excluding Tuesdays and Fridays. Dogs used in hunting must be regularly registered and identified at the canine registry. Dog training, carried out without weapons, will still be possible until 31.12, in the permitted areas, noting the day on the regional card. These days will enter into the calculation of those used for the hunting exercise.
From 1st December to 31st January following, in the ATCs and in the provincial wildlife-hunting farms, foxes and corvids can only be hunted by subjects belonging to teams nominally communicated to the Province. In the same period, fox hunting can also be carried out from stalking, according to the procedures set out in the regional addresses (DGR n ° 467/2014), upon notification to the ATC of the staging locations.
In the month of September, in the ATC PC1, PC2 and PC6, the hunt for turtledoves can be carried out, from stalking, up to 13, and with a daily game bag limit of 5 animals, exclusively on the days of 4, 7 and 11 (for exception of the Special Protection Areas). From 1 to 31 January hunting for migratory birds is only allowed on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays (Thursdays and Sundays in the Natura 2000 Network Sites).
VENATOR HOURS - Hunting for sedentary and migratory wildlife is allowed according to defined timetables, which include the closing of the ATC hunt at 13 from 21.9 to 5.10. In ATC PC2 and 4 from 6.10 to 19.10, hunting for sedentary fauna will end at 14 pm In July and August, on Saturdays and Sundays, selection hunting for ungulates is prohibited between 8.30 and 18 and, in the season. , ends an hour after the hunt for the sedentary.
HARE HUNT - The hare hunting it is allowed until 30.11 with a single provincial overall seasonal game bag of 4 hares per hunter, regardless of the number of Atc registered. The hunt may not be carried out in groups of more than four hunters, who may not lead more than six dogs in total, or a pack.
Please note that at the end of the hunting season, and in any case by March 15, 2015, it is mandatory to return the duly completed “Killing summary sheet” to each ATC to which it belongs. By the same date, the slip and the bands for the collection of the Hare must also be returned, to be applied immediately after the killing of each specimen, possibly unused.
