The Italian Venatory Syndicate on early closure of the hunting to the turdids and the woodcock wanted by the government, "we are ready to take to the streets, no more injustices to the hunters".
The CdM of last January 20 definitively established and, throughout the national territory, the hunting ban of the Song Thrush, Cesena and Beccaccia to comply with the alleged violation of the European directive "birds" (2009/147 / EC) by our country. The Minister of the Environment has asserted a prerogative of the State over the Regions and has therefore adopted the exercise of the substitute power provided for by Law 131/2003. We believe that the reasons given are not sufficient and are technically and legally questionable. Starting from this unilateral act, the happy union between the government and the animal rights lobby is also clear.
The hunters, citizens who pay taxes to be able to exercise their passion, are tired of the continuous injustices they have to suffer, for the continuous infringement of their rights. The minister said he had dealt with the major hunting associations, but if this were true, these, called to the decision table, have made a big mistake ... If not, let them prove it.
The SVI is ready to take to the streets, united with the other trade associations of every order and degree that wish it and united with all the hunters. Hunters UNITE, UNITE, let us stand by our reasons, in defense of our art and our tradition.
