Fenixlight Limited E15 Flashlight: Fenixlight Limited has set out to produce quality flashlights with a high degree of resistance to water and accidental drops.
Considering its technical characteristics, the E15 is a torch that cannot be missing in a hunter's jacket pocket. Not only poor quality torches come from China that can be found in stalls in local markets. In fact, at dusk or before dawn there is a need to shed light on one's path. Many hunters, in fact, usually go out or return home when the light is scarce or totally absent, so the need arises to equip themselves with flashlights that can illuminate the road that is being traveled on foot.
The Fenixlight Limited is quite young that has entered the market a few years ago, offering quality tactical, back-up or leisure torches. The factory, located in China, through its products wants to dispel the myth that only poor quality products come from that nation. To obtain the latter, it is known that it is necessary to invest in human resources, research and rely on quality raw materials, to offer competitive products on the market. Fenixlight Limited has set itself all these goals.
This is reflected in the price of its products, which are not at all similar to those found on market stalls in our cities, where flashlights are sold for a few euros. The Fenix torches, in addition to being highly competitive with overseas products in terms of materials and strength, have an excellent quality / price ratio. The E 15 torch, which we are about to talk about in this article, due to its characteristics, finds application both in emergencies, routine in daily life, and in hunting. The very small dimensions of the E15, almost 6 cm long by less than 2 cm in diameter, allow the user to carry this small flashlight attached to the keychain despite having 140 lumens, which allow to illuminate a good portion of the space in front of us.
Surely we are not in the presence of a real tactical flashlight, since the rear power button is missing, but in emergency cases the 140 lumens of which it is composed are able to satisfy the need to have a light source in case of necessity.
The flashlight emits a concentrated, halo-free beam of light that degrades towards the periphery. The E 15 is capable of emitting, with a single CR123A lithium battery, 140, 75 and 10 lumens. The output of brightness can be set through the rotation of the head, whose battery life is about two hours at maximum power, just over four hours at half power and even thirty hours at minimum. These choices in terms of brightness power allow you to use the flashlight on various occasions such as reading a book in a tent without disturbing the other occupants, sending light signals to ask for help or illuminating dark environments in emergency situations or hunting.
The flashlight installs a Cree XP led guaranteed for 50.000 hours of operation, with an anodized and knurled aircraft aluminum body for more grip. The E15 has been subjected to various tests to verify its resistance, obtaining the maximum degree of water resistance that corresponds to the initials IPX8. This abbreviation shows that the torch can withstand immersion up to 2 meters deep without encountering any problems and continuing to work safely.
In addition, it has been subjected to tests for accidental drops, with which the flashlight has shown that it can withstand leaps of up to one meter in height. Surely it is a very versatile flashlight, which cannot be missing in a hunter's jacket pocket.
Carrying it with you does not represent a footprint, considering its size and weight, so having it available can still be an opportunity.
