URCA Apulia, in collaboration with the Regional Councilorship for Agri-food Resources and the Territorial Area of Caccia di Bari, has organized an interesting training course for selecontrollers and qualified operators in control of ungulates. Lessons will begin on Saturday 1st April 2017 at 15 pm at the “De Cagno Abbrescia” Institute in Bari: this is the first edition and the preparation took place in accordance with the directives of the ISPRA, as well as held by the members of Castanea and by other experts in specific subjects.
The first two days, that of the 1 ° April and the following day, will be dedicated to the general part with concepts of applied ecology and the environmental and wildlife requalification. On 8 and 9 April it will be the turn of the module that will cover the treatment of the culled garments and the collection techniques, up to the last lesson on Sunday 21st May.
This means that the participants will be engaged for over a month and a half, complete with final practical exercises: it is, specifically, an activity related to the handling and shooting with rifled guns. The ungulates studied in the various lessons will be roe deer, red deer, wild boar, fallow deer and mouflon.
