On Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April 2017 there will be two zootechnical selection tests intended for dogs belonging to English pointing breeds within the Alectoris Graeca Trophy. The two days will take place on Monte Orsello and Raponaglia, in the municipality of lucoli (province of L'Aquila). The aim of the event is to identify and carefully select the mountain dogs that they are suitable for the search for rock partridge.
For both days the program is the same: the meeting was set for 6 at the “Alantino” refuge in Centomonti Campo Felice di Lucoli. At 6:30instead, there will be the draw of the starting order of the battery, before the actual tests. After lunch at 13pm, at 15pm we will proceed with the awarding of the winners. The Alectoris Graeca Trophy includes a series of tests of this type, with the valid points that will be only those obtained on the rock partridge species.
The duration of the event is annual and the next tests will take place in September and October to conclude the entire circuit, which began last February. Furthermore, to compete for the final ranking, you must participate in at least 50% plus one of the days actually carried out. The trophy will be awarded to the person with the absolute best score, otherwise we will proceed with the highest qualification in the event of a tie.
