Organized by Marche Regional Federcaccia an assembly was held in Fano last Monday, August 30th the presence of many authorities including the vice president of the regional council as well as regional councilor for hunting Mirco Carloni, the regional councilor Marco Ausili, the Mayor of Fano Massimo Seri, the president of the municipal council of Fano Carla Cecchetelli, as well as the provincial president Federcaccia of Pesaro Giampaolo Gori, the regional vice president Federcaccia Nazzareno Galassi, the president ofATC PS 2 Davide Dini and many municipal presidents from the whole region.
Also present was Dr. Bruno Beccaria, director of Benelli Arms, a world leader in the production of hunting weapons, with a factory in Urbino. At the meeting, which was attended by nearly 400 people, they were discussed and deepened with the contribution of the regional president Paolo Antognoni and the various issues that have taken place, including the very recent problems relating to the course of the calendar, the exceptions and, lastly, the appeal to the Regional Administrative Court presented by the WWF and LAC for the suspension of hunting of some species in pre-opening.
In this regard, Antognoni highlighted the contribution of the Bird Migration Office with its coordinator Michele Sorrenti to the drafting of the brief presented by the lawyer Alberto Bruni representing FIdC and the commitment of the entire National Federcaccia to defend this calendar considered a bulwark. Even the commissioner Carloni, after having brought greetings from President Acquaroli, reiterated his commitment and that of the regional structure to defend the calendar in the judgment and the proximity of the entire regional council to the hunting world. At the end of the evening a long applause greeted two ninety-year-old hunters: Silvio Gregorini and Agostino Felicetti (Source: Hunting Federation).
