Today's news of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters focuses on a serious act of animal rights vandalism, carried out in the province of Pisa against a fixed stalking of waterfowl hunting. Serious damage was caused to the structure and numerous objects and decoys were scattered. An act of real intimidation and aggression, claimed by the "Animal Liberation Front" who left his signature with a flyer found by the owner of the post.
The incident is being dealt with by the Carabinieri of Navacchio, who have been reported by the hunter. After the events that occurred in other regional realities, also in Tuscany seems to be spreading a phenomenon that sees as actors, some dangerous "possessed", animated by hatred and anti-hideous hatred, who often acting in the shadows, provoke real punitive raids against those who legitimately carry out an activity in compliance with the law. Perhaps it would be time for the environmental associations to distance themselves from these extreme fringes as such actions certainly cannot be the basis of a civil coexistence nor tolerable on the level of democratic confrontation.
Such incidents once again demonstrate how hunters, often instrumentally denigrated to public opinion, represent a community of law-abiding men and women strongly anchored to the values of civilization and democracy. Confident of the work of the police aimed atidentification of those responsible, the CCT will not hesitate to undertake the necessary actions and initiatives aimed at the protection of all hunters involved in similar episodes; has already activated its lawyers to evaluate the necessary steps in criminal proceedings and civil against those responsible for these vile as well as reckless acts of anti-hunt intolerance.
