The section of Rimini ofNational Free Hunting Association does not want to resign himself to one of the latest ordinances that has effectively prohibited hunters from hunting near the river Marecchia. The provincial president, Nevio Canaletti, expressed his mood, recalling how i hunters from Rimini are now forced to suffer heavy discomfort. The measure was adopted about a month ago and formalized the ban on shooting at a distance of less than 50 meters from the historical naturalistic path along the river just mentioned.
The goal is to protect the people who find themselves passing along the path and the cycle path, avoiding that the shots are too close and dangerous. Canaletti therefore demanded compensation for the month of hunting license which has already been paid and that it cannot be exploited as intended.
The Marecchia was born in Tuscany, to be precise in the municipality of Badia Tedalda (in the province of Arezzo), near the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines. The course is approx 70 kilometers and develops almost entirely in the historical region of Romagna, reaching as far as Rimini to flow into the Adriatic sea. Now a reply from the municipality to the ANLC position is expected.
