Il Regional Administrative Court of Abruzzo expressed its opinion on the appeal filed against theTerritorial Eagle Hunting Area. This is the application presented by two members of the Abruzzo ATC, as hunters and foremen for wild boar hunting. The latter was obtained from the downsizing of the 10 zone (San Nunzio) and of the 11 zone (Monte Lago). In particular, zone 11 has been reduced from 1300 to 750 hectares of huntable area, while the extension of zone 10 has decreased from 1400 to 1013 hectares. According to the ATC, however, the exception of inadmissibility of the appeal, an exception which was found to be well founded.
The two hunters participated in the assembly of foremen to discuss and propose solutions on boar hunting in the form of pick selection. The zoning was then reviewed by the Management Committee and the applicants themselves accepted the effects of this zoning. There has never been, therefore, a dissent and for this reason the administrative judges have decided not to proceed further.
