Hunting ban
Mr Barbara Mazzali, regional councilor of Lombardy (Fratelli d'Italia), said his through social channels on the issue of the hunting ban following a fire in a wooded area. The point of view of the representative of FdI was punctual as usual.
The thought of Mr Mazzali
"This is how ideology and myopia can destroy our territories. If you remember, a sentence from the Constitutional Court declared the illegitimacy of the law that led to the ban on hunting in areas affected by fires from 10 to 3 years. Now the sentence of the Tar has also been added, which had been questioned by the usual animal welfare associations. Enpa, Lav, Lipu and WWF gloat over what they believe to be a victory and which instead is yet another damage done to the territory in the name of a blind and deaf ideology".
The role of hunters
"Hunters are the sentinels of our forests, our mountains and our plains. They check that biodiversity is maintained, that the areas are well preserved and clean and that the balance between species is protected and enhanced. Imagine how a territory will be reduced after 10 years of hunting ban. I can't even think about it. They believe they are hitting our category and instead destroy nature".
