The episode of "Hashtag24", broadcast of Sky TG24, dedicated to hunting. The hunting activity was deepened by the conductor Riccardo Bocca who had as guests Paul Sparvoli, president ofNational Free Hunting Association, Nicola Perrotti, number one of the UNA Foundation, and Annamaria Procacci, national councilor ofENPA extension (National Animal Protection Authority). By Michela Vittoria Brambilla, however, not even the shadow. Sparvoli pointed out how the category of hunters has a criminal record that is 100% immaculate like snow.
The ANLC number one also added how hunters are not ashamed to say that a sample is taken and managed to ensure environmental balance: without the hunter, society would not know how to do it. Furthermore, for Sparvoli the modern hunter is the same as ever, respectful of the law and traditions: it is collected after a long management activity but the category is exploited when, on the other hand, various surveys have shown how most Italians love hunting and hunters. Perrotti instead spoke of the presence of several hunting associations in the Foundation, a much appreciated contribution: indignation on this issue, as on many others, is a typical social process of our days, given that there is a lack of in-depth information and the topic is little treated.
Moreover, it makes little sense for Perrotti to ask the hunters not to go and shoot after events such as bad weather as many teams are already working with the Civil Protection. The representative of the ENPA did not accept the definition of hunters as regulators of nature, remarking how the shotguns rage on it: the councilor Procacci would have expected that the category had declared that it did not want to go hunting right after the bad weather of the last few weeks. The polls promoted by Sky TG24 speak for themselves: both on Twitter (almost 3 thousand votes) and on Facebook (about 63 thousand), the 56-57% of the people took up the defense of the hunt. Finally, the conductor Bocca addressed an appeal to the animal rights activist and vegan Daniela Martani, inviting her to reflect on her violent anti-hunting phrases that alienate only those who think like her.
