Oscar of Cinofilia: the three nominations decided, from 24 to 26 August the Masters of Cinofilia in Lajatico (PI).
Renato Gritti, Gastone Puttini and Ottavio Mencio are the three nominations of the Oscar della Cinofilia 2012, the award conceived and organized by Arcicaccia Csaa with the patronage of the Italian Spinoni Club and the Bracco Italiano Amateurs Society, reserved for promoters of Italian pointing breeds .
The nominations were unanimously decided by the jury of the award made up of Cesare Manganelli, president of Sabi, Marco Lozza, president of Cisp and Marco Ciarafoni, president of the Arcicaccia National Council and president of the Csaa. The final choice of the awarding of the Oscar will take place on the same day of the public award ceremony scheduled for Friday 24 August at 19 pm at the hunting lodge of the Azienda Faunistico Venatoria il Colle di Lajatico (PI).
The ceremony is part of the Cinofilia Masters, the classic end of summer appointment for the doc hunting trials on natural game for the pointing and hunting breeds (cac and cac cacit) which this year will take place from 24 to August 26, as usual, in the repopulation and capture areas of the provinces of Siena and Pisa. For logistical reasons, this year the meeting place was moved from Colle Val d'Elsa to Lajatico.
The Cup of Regions will be held on 24 August for all breeds, on 25 August the Champions Cup for English breeds and hunting breeds as well as the special Bracco Italiano, Spinone (also Rally), Epagneul Breton and Weimaraner, on 26 August the European Cup for the continentals.
The best dogs of the dog season will participate in the Masters because in order to compete in the special rankings of the Regions 'Cup and the Champions' Cup it is necessary that the dogs have obtained in a test of the same level of the Enci and Csaa (only for the regional cup) respectively at least the qualification of very good or Cqn or the qualification of excellent.
In any case, all dogs will be able to register freely for the tests and specials (regardless of the qualifications obtained). A large and qualified jury, made up of over 20 Italian and international judges, will evaluate the evidence of each subject.
Finally, the 7th “Memorial Franco Logi” Trophy will be awarded to the best Italian Bracco of the three days of testing. Race registrations can be sent via email ([email protected]) or by fax (tel. 06 40800345) no later than 18 pm on Tuesday 21 August.
