The repopulation of pheasants in Crotone has involved not only the ATC but also the Province. The satisfaction from the hunters was felt ..
It took place last Sunday, Sunday 21 February 2010, the repopulation of pheasants in the province of Crotone. This year, the repopulation of this species of birds was not only carried out by the ATC. This year, in fact, the entire province wanted to make an important contribution to these annual initiatives. The province has not only taken part in the repopulation put in place by the ATC but has also proposed further actions to re-evaluate the fauna of the territory by making available for these initiatives some funds that necessarily had to be used. KR1 and KR2 are the territorial areas of the ATC in which the repopulation began on Sunday.
The delivery of the pheasants took place at 8.00 am at the crossroads in the locality of Passovecchio where shortly after the classic launch of the pheasants began. The event was also attended by the provincial councilor Franco Senatore. Franco Senatore himself asserted that the competitions for further restocking have already been called and that soon, therefore, after the necessary evaluations, other pheasants and also various specimens of hare will be launched. The province's commitment was positively evaluated by the entire population and the hunters, represented by the various committees and associations, felt obliged to express their great satisfaction.
