Selection hunting: Federcaccia Brescia organizes a qualification course for the selective harvesting of deer.
The Italian Federation of Hunting of Brescia organizes a course for ungulate hunter with methods selective specialized in the collection of deer (training course Ispra - Emilia Romagna) to be held at the provincial headquarters of the FIdC, at the San Filippo Center in via Luigi Bazoli, 10 in Brescia on 23 June 2015 from 17.30-23.30. The deadline for registration is Tuesday 16 June 2015. Participation fee: 30 euros, to be paid to the FIDC Secretariat; the fee includes: teaching material, hours of lectures with teachers of proven experience. The course lasts 6 hours. Passing the final exam allows you to obtain the qualification relating to the figure identified in letter d), paragraph 1, of art. 5 of RR no. 4/2002 (Regulation of the Emilia Romagna Region).
REQUIRED PREREQUISITES: frequency of the route foreseen for the training of the hunter of ungulates with selective methods.

GENERAL PART
Introduction to the course:
- Origins and distribution of the species, with particular reference to the Apennine situation;
- Local differences in the parameters of size, weight and weight gain in the different sex and age classes;
- Parameters and biological cycles of the species, physiological and biological maturity;
- Reproductive strategy and related events, male and female aggression, social hierarchy and hierarchy in loves;
- Birth rate, farrowing, reproductive success, annual increase and parental investment;
- Living space, movements and seasonal neighborhoods (use of habitat in concrete local examples);
- Types of damage and their prevention;
- Hunting management: principles and purposes of sampling;
- Killing classes and recognition in kind;
- Weapons for selective collection, logistics of collection and recovery, specific methods and techniques of collection (search and appearance), ethics of hunting;
- Control center for culled animals, collection of biometric parameters, measurement of the trophy.
EXERCISE AND DEEPENING
- Specific insights on age assessment criteria in relation to morphological characteristics;
- Recognition of the species, determination of sex and age classes, morphology and systems, stages and factors that regulate their development (growth cycle, cleaning and fall, morphology, nomenclature and anomalies.
