Siena: Arci Caccia enters schools to bring pupils closer to the wildlife of the countryside, of the woods with a view to sustainable hunting and respect for the environment.
Hunting enters schools and children learn the secrets of going through the woods, see dogs of various breeds in action and witness the repopulation live. Arcicaccia lesson in schools. This time the protagonists are the pupils of the third and fourth grade A of the elementary school "Gianni Rodari" of Castellina Scalo, in the Municipality of Monteriggioni. At the base of this initiative, as Arcicaccia herself explains "," there is the hunting activity seen as good management of the territory, supporting social hunting as compatible and indispensable to keep the environment intact and, at the same time, make it adaptable to civilization modern and technological agriculture ".
The one with the schools is a project that the hunting association carries out in full harmony with the teachers. A project that he has foreseen 4 hours of lessons in the classroom and a nice trip to a hunting lodge to show the children a typical day of catching. The Arcicaccia volunteers showed the pupils the planting of nets and the capture of game for restocking purposes.
But the good surprises for the children weren't over. Afterwards, in fact, they had lunch at the wild boar hunting lodge. On the table a typical hunter's menu. Among the most beautiful moments of the day, the release of the captured animals and the review of dog breeds dedicated to hunting.
