Il Municipality of Spoleto has published a very special announcement to try to put a stop toemergency represented by pigeons. As disclosed by The nation, in fact, the mayor of the Umbrian city, Fabrizio Cardarelli, is looking for people for the so-called National Civil Service. There are two projects and the first is called its own "Environment and Sustainability 2015".
The initiative foresees that we go to monitor with extreme attention the population of pigeons in the historic center of the city, so as to be able to evaluate with a good approximation the impact that birds have both on urban hygiene and on the healthiness of the air. Wanting to be even more precise, it was decided to assign two people to this task.
Their duties will consist in the detection of sanitation situations, with a specific focus on the most critical cases concerning the laying of pigeons. Then it will be necessary put the analysis in relation to the direct causes and to the structural aspects of the buildings and buildings, since there are buildings that do not comply with the provisions of the municipal ordinance. The salary foreseen for carrying out the National Civil Service in Spoleto will be 400 euros.
