Hunting in Switzerland: 4'486 deer and 2'559 roe deer were killed in the canton of Graubünden during the 2014 hunting season, which was deemed “a success” by the authorities. In the case of the deer this is the second highest number of animals killed.
The government, in a note released on Tuesday, highlights how the various regional and local needs have been met thanks to the special autumn hunt, in which 1 hunters and hunters took part. Also in this case it is a record of participation that has made it possible to ascertain that the number of deer killed is far above the average.
In fact, never have so many hunters during the special period welcomed the possibility of practicing the hunting ungulates, and therefore the Swiss government rejoices at the excellent hunting fauna management of the canton of Grisons which again this year has managed to manage very well the phenomenon of damage from ungulates, applying a concrete containment action that involved many Swiss hunters.
Applause also for the coffers of the canton of Graubünden who have certainly been able to benefit their finances thanks to these abatement plans.
