With the order issued yesterday, Thursday September 20 2018, Council of State rejected the appeal filed in relation to the decision of Regional Administrative Court of Sardinia to close the withdrawal a partridge and hare. For the legal body, in fact, the reasons for the appeal are not such as to suggest, with evidence that here it is necessary for the purposes of the invoked monochromatic measure, a probable positive outcome, also in light of the recent sentence number 3852 of 2018 of the Section, in relation to the criteria and the adequacy of the motivation needed to depart from an articulated negative opinion of ISPRA (Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research).
For the collegial discussion, the council chamber is scheduled for October 18, so it is necessary to wait another month or so to get further updates on the matter. The question of hunting hares and partridges in Sardinia is a real soap opera, but not exclusive to this hunting season.
Even last year, in fact, there were the same problems, between animal rights and environmentalist appeals and hunters struggling with unconvincing decisions. In this 2018-2019 season it was on some hope for the island hunting world, regularly disregarded by the facts and sentences of the last few weeks.
