In Umbria this 2020 is a far from easy hunting season and there are many protests. The latest comes from wild boar teams ofUpper Tiber Valley who state: “It is absurd what hunters are forced to undergo today in Umbria. We are about 1.300 boar hunting hunters forced to pay previously unseen dues to pay (us) the damages caused by the wild boar species. We have sent a letter toAtc Perugia 1 asking not to pay the per capita share of the amount assigned to us by Region.
This is a complicated economic moment for everyone, even for us and despite our willingness to carry out all the containment interventions required by theAtc and from the impossibility of carrying out the same in the months of February and March, due to the health emergency, to date we are required to pay fees that go even beyond 40 euros per hunter. If the Region e Atc they will not remedy the current conditions, we will not intend to withdraw the report for the hunt and the wild boars will be free to move without killing.
Out of respect for our commitment, the great collaboration that has always been demonstrated and the particular moment we are experiencing, we ask that Atc take the place of the hunters for the full amount established, taking care of the quotas relating to the damage caused by wild boars".
in Calabria they waited for all the hunters to pay their taxes ... and then block (with SPA) the wild boar hunting areas, on the Costa Viola area there are 3 teams Palmi- Seminara- bagnara, inland S.Eufemia-Sinopoli- Solano all RC1 for my part I RECOMMEND these teams, for next year not to make any more payments (at least you will save money.
