The employees of the Province of Belluno which so far they have dealt with hunting and fishing they raised the alarm. As established by the Linked to the 2017 Budget these same proxies should return to the Veneto region. The Province would therefore also be forced to renounce tourism, civil protection and work, with the consequent downsizing of staff, which for now has about 200 employees.
The transfer of the fighter was described as "incomprehensible" by Leandro Grones, mayor of Livinallongo del Col di Lana. Grones is also president of the Agordino hunting district and number one of the Belluno district conference, so he represents 4 thousand hunters. The refusal of the handover is motivated by the fact that so far the hunt has always been well managed and it would not be useful to have Venice decide the aspects of alpine fauna.
Alberto Colleselli, president of the provincial section of the Italian Federation of Hunting, however, underlined how the Veneto law provides that the alpine hunting activity is managed directly by the provinces. Hunting in the Belluno area is a very particular and complex subject, therefore specific and careful knowledge is required. The fishing district also expressed the same concerns.
