St. Hubert, patron saint of dogs and hunters, was probably born in Toulouse around 656 and spent most of his life in Metz, where he led a wicked life. According to tradition, on a Good Friday, during a hunting trip, Uberto would have had the vision of a Crucifix placed between the horns of a deer. This vision leads him to abandon his dissolute life to undertake the religious life. The feast of St. Hubert occurs on November 3, the day of the transfer of the relics from the church of St. Peter in Liège, where he was buried immediately after his death, to the abbey of Andage, in the Ardennes, in 825.
At the end of the Eucharistic celebration, the participants will be able to meet for a toast of friendship in the “Rosso Wengé” restaurant in Aversa. The passion for hunting brings us together, makes us one family, the great family of hunters. All Diana followers and sympathizers are invited.
