The ringing and catching station of the Mount Pizzoc, one of the peaks of the Treviso Pre-Alps, has updated the numbers relating to last days of the season. On 28 October, in particular, the high temperatures ensured an intense migration rate which then dropped in the afternoon. 16 species were captured and the whole day was marked by flocks of brambles, finches, frosoni and stone thrushes. The most caught species was that of finch (36 specimens to be precise), closely followed by the pipit (29) and from black redstart (23)
On 29 October, it was a day with a lower migratory rate, even if in the end the overall catches were 130, with 15 different species. The catches of the Cesene at dawn were interesting, but once again the main species has been confirmed as that of the finch (40 specimens), without forgetting the frosone.
The final day, that of October 31, gave satisfaction despite some goals already dismantled for the imminent end of the activity. Two stone thrushes, three blackbirds, a song thrush and a tordela were captured. Finally, the blackbirds surprised and not a little with over 150 specimens captured every day.
