Rome - Boar hunting 2015/2016 - The present "Disciplinary"Identifies the period and methods of hunting the wild boar species, as well as the areas where it is possible to hunt for driven hunts and prescribes the methods for setting up the teams and carrying out the hunt, as provided for in art. 5 of the “Regulation of wild boar hunting in the Province of Rome ”approved with Provincial Council Resolution no. 41 of 13/09/2010
Art 1
The hunt for the species boar (Sus scrofa) in the territory of the Metropolitan City of Rome is permitted by the 24 October 2015 to 31 January 2016 (unless otherwise indicated by the Lazio Region)
Art 2
WILD BOAR HUNTING
1) Hunting wild boar driven in the RM 1 and RM 2 ATCs can only be carried out in the areas indicated in Annex A;
a) Within the aforementioned areas and in the AFV, for the hunting of driven wild boar only, the help of the following dog is allowed in January 2016.
b) In January 2016, the ban on the aid of the follow-up dog remains for all other forms of hunting other than the one indicated above.
2) Within the areas referred to in point 1, the collection of wild boar species can only take place on the beaten track and in the manner established in this specification.
3) The driven hunt can be carried out by teams consisting of no less than 35 and no more than 60 hunters (beaters included). The teams may not have hunters from other provinces of Lazio in excess of 20%
a) the jokes can be practiced:
o in the months of October, December and January on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays,
or in November on Thursdays and Sundays,
b) the driven hunt must start no earlier than 9,00 am and finish by sunset. From 8,00 to the start of the service, upon completion of the operations envisaged by art. 2.12 of the aforementioned Regulation, participants will be able to carry out all the necessary preliminary operations (securing the area, reaching assigned posts, etc.);
c) once the perimeter and area safety operations have been completed, the identification disc can be removed from the grip point only if the team number is identifiable in the signs positioned, as required by the regulations;
d) each team can host, for each hunting trip, up to 10 hunters unrelated to the components, who can participate in the hunt only if in possession of the documents required for the performance of the hunting activity and registered as guests who in any case do not contribute upon reaching the minimum number of participants in the joke. The visiting hunter cannot participate in more than three hunts on the same team.
4) The hunts can be carried out by not less than 25 regular hunters of the team (beaters included) on Saturdays and Sundays and by not less than 20 regular hunters of the team (beaters included) on the other weekdays;
5) Two teams that do not reach the minimum number may join temporarily and perform a joint serve. The head of the team with the highest number of hunters must draw up the regular report, while the head of the second team must record in the register the date, place of the hunt and the name of the team with which he made the merger.
6) The joint measures are considered, for the purposes of art. 3 paragraph 2.14 of the “Regulations for wild boar hunting in the Province of Rome” as if carried out by each individual team.
7) The points must be accessible to hunters enrolled in boar hunting teams even with the use of their own vehicles. The aforementioned requirement is an essential condition under penalty of forfeiture of the connected hunting area.
Art 3
For violations of these Regulations, the administrative sanction from € 51,00 to € 309,00 is applied (art.47 - paragraph 3 LR n. 17/95).
