La Abruzzo region has decided to give free access to dog areas without the hunters paying any odds. For this reason, admission will be free and dog training will be allowed in two distinct periods. The first runs from February 1st to April 15th, from an hour after sunrise until 14:1 pm: the second will start on July XNUMXst and will end seven days before the opening of the hunt for sedentary game, from one hour after sunrise until 10:30 and from 16 to 20.
The training will then be allowed for three fixed days a week and only on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The use will be allowed to trainers and dog lovers with any kind of hunting dog (followed, stop, seek and trace). Regular registration in the canine registry will obviously be important. No more than 50 hounds will be allowed per 4 hectares, while the number will increase to 5 for pointing and hunting dogs (keeping the same extension).
Each handler will have the opportunity to prune with him at most two pointing dogs or 4 followed dogs. Among other things, in the dog area it is forbidden to use firearms and any other tool to capture animals. Finally, reference will be made to the provisions of the laws in force for each topic not expressly contemplated.
