Four days ago, Monday 12 February 2018, the meeting between the world of Italian hunting , European Commission at the Auditorium del Ministry of the Environment in Rome. This was the bilateral meeting that covered the Action Plan for nature, citizens and the economy. The appointment also had the objective of take stock of the management of Natura 2000 sites in our country, trying to understand how to improve the conservation of biodiversity.
The meeting also addressed the issues of hunting for declining species and the fight against poaching. Hunting Federation exhibited and delivered a document through its Study Center and in sharing with theANUUMigrators ed Enalhunt. There was no shortage of contributions from environmental and animal rights representatives, without forgetting the agricultural sector and Federparchi. In particular, a much discussed issue was that of the limits to the general approval of Natura 200 areas, both for the hunting world and for the agricultural one.
The Centro Studi Federcaccia has proposed three solutions, including the drafting of a decree that includes the Territorial Areas of Hunting and Alpine Districts in the bodies that participate in the management of the sites themselves, involving better hunters. The point about declining species made it possible to deny the well-known SPEC definition, which has no official value.
