Le Hunting Associations of Lazio write to Region to solicit provisions that allow hunting, control, censuses and dog training in the orange and red zone, as well as requesting the postponement of the terms of delivery of hunting badges. Request for urgent measures relating to activities governed by LR 17/95 and SMI The provisions aimed at countering the spread of COVID 19 in force in the Lazio Region since Monday 15 make it difficult to return the hunting card by the deadline (March 31); this also because of the particular working regime in force in public offices, aimed at limiting work "in presence" only by booking, therefore requires postponing the date of return of the card itself at least as of June 30th or, alternatively, provide for the old return method - new withdrawal, in anticipation of the new hunting season.
The undersigned Associations also request that the following activities be guaranteed:
1. Activate selection hunting plans approved by the Lazio Region;
2. Implementation of control plans for problematic species approved by the Lazio Region;
3. Carrying out dog activities in ZAC and ATV;
4. Monitoring and repopulation of fauna in AATTCC and AAFFVV according to the approved programs. These are, with all evidence, activities aimed at protecting the balance of fauna, the safeguarding of agricultural enterprises, the reduction of road accidents, the care of animal welfare.
It should be noted that none of the aforementioned activities foresee situations of gathering, and everything can be carried out in the most rigorous respect of the anti COVID rules. Certain of your careful examination of what is requested, the undersigned Associations reaffirm their availability for any form of comparison and collaboration (Federcaccia, Arci Caccia, Italcaccia, Enalcaccia, Free Hunt, ANUUMigratorists).
