Hunting: Liguria, is a clash between the regional councilor Bruzzone and the former minister Brambilla, notoriously anti-hunting animal rights activist, “It is not welcome in Liguria. We can do without his unwelcome advice ”.
"Michela Vittoria Brambilla is an unwelcome person", so Francesco Bruzzone, group leader of the Northern League in the Regional Council of Liguria, comments on the stage, scheduled for Friday afternoon, by the Hon. Michela Brambilla in western Liguria. According to Bruzzone, therefore, Brambilla will not be welcome in Liguria and explains why, "There are many complaints I have collected in recent days, regarding the arrival of the former minister on our territory, including representatives of trade associations, hunters or simple enthusiasts who still have imprinted in their memory her unfortunate proposal to abolish hunting, which she promoted some time ago ". The visit of the former minister to Liguria is aimed above all at the presentation of his book containing the memories of his battles for animal welfare both as a minister and as a politician as well as an animal rights activist; "The same book that goes around Italy presenting, beyond the animalist spirit of the facade, - says Bruzzone - wants to promote this absurd proposal for the abolition of hunting which, moreover, if absurdly were to be approved, would hit mortally and completely eliminate an entire economic sector, moreover at a time of crisis for the country ”.
Finally Bruzzone concluded by stating “We do not accept lessons on love for animals, especially if this is used for electoral purposes, nor on matters related to hunting, by Mr Brambilla. Of his unsolicited and unnecessary advice, frankly, we could and still can do without it ”.
