As reported by the Italian Federation of Hunting, with Pec received in the late afternoon of Monday 14 October, the Lombardy region has communicated to the Hunting Associations the decree number 14706 bearing the new reductive calendar. Here is what has been established:
- Moretta (Aythya fuligula): suspension of hunting;
- Pochard (Aythya ferina): implementation of a careful monitoring of the withdrawals with hunting from 2 October 2019 to 20 January 2020; maximum daily and seasonal game bag per hunter, equal to 2 and 10 head respectively;
- Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus): implementation of careful monitoring of withdrawals with hunting from 2 October 2019 to 20 January 2020 and maximum daily and seasonal game bag per hunter equal to 2 and 10 head respectively;
- Quail (Coturnix coturnix): hunting collection from 2 October 2019 to 31 October 2019 and maximum daily and seasonal game bag per hunter equal to 5 and 25 head respectively.
Furthermore, it was decided to confirm the predictions for the Lark (Alauda arvensis), Fighter (Philomachus pugnax) and Rock Ptarmigan (Lagopus muta helvetica) species as follows:
- Lark (Alauda arvensis):
Hunting allowed from 2 October 2019 to 30 December 2019;
· Maximum daily and seasonal game bag per hunter equal to 10 and 50 head respectively;
· Killing outside the Lombardy region contributes to the maximum seasonal bag of 50 animals allowed per hunter;
- Fighter (Philomachus pugnax):
· Suspension of hunting;
- White Partridge (Lagopus muta helvetica):
· Subpopulations in which the reproductive index, calculated on the basis of the summer censuses, is less than 1,25 young / adult will not be subject to sampling;
· The withdrawal will be stopped when 80% of the plan has been completed;
