The Community of Lessinia Park unanimously rejected the only observation received regarding the changes to the articles 42 and 49 of the Park's Environmental Plan. As you will remember, this was the modification of two articles which, once approved, will allow the control hunting of wild boar in the areas of the Park hitherto precluded from any hunting activity. Diego Lonardoni, coordinator of the Park and Culture Area, explained with a technical report that the only observation received from the Giros association, Monte Baldo section, asked for greater protection for the Park areas in the agro-silvopastoral areas, but that it was not acceptable because the articles proposed already prohibit the collection and removal of flora and fauna, while methods and times of collection are already regulated by specific regional laws and further regulations could be issued by the managing body.
The text of the two articles will now be sent to the Region and its final approval will be the responsibility of the Executive. The Community also unanimously approved the 2021-23 budget, with the premise of President Raffaello Campostrini that there will be a cut in transfers from the Region, with criteria already approved and which will take into account the number of employees, the number of residents and the number of protocols, to redistribute resources in a different way among the various regional park bodies. "It seemed that this would also have an impact on the 2020 financial year and on expenses already made, but with meetings and clarifications in the Region we managed to save the current budget. However, we should wait to understand how much the new approach will affect the next budget ”, explained the president.
As the accountant explained Andrew Massella, amounts to 612.202 euros the income for transfers from the Region, to which are added one thousand euros of own income for reports of forestry and provincial police and 5 thousand euros from wildlife damage fund in the territories precluded from hunting. There are 276.900 expenses envisaged for dependent work, 43.100 those for the bodies of the body and 83.190 those for the functioning of the body itself; 64 thousand for scientific and museum activities; 59 thousand for tourism promotion; 5 thousand for relief from damage to wild boars, 26.600 for taxes and duties; 31.700 for current expenses and 18.648 for repayment of mortgage amortization of 2002 for the arrangement of the Valle district, a loan that will expire in 2022 (Arena).
