The Sienese sections of the Italian Farmers Confederation (CIA), Arci Caccia e Free Hunt they took a stand on wildlife-hunting management in the Tuscan province, inviting the presidents of the ATC to do their part. An urgent meeting with the Regional Councilor for Agriculture, Marco Remaschi, was asked loudly. In particular, CIA Siena said it was opposed to the use of resources from the rural development plan to pay for the damage created by wild animals, while Arci Caccia demanded the safeguarding of interests thanks to the regulations in force.
The three associations would like a greater and concrete involvement of farmers, hunters and environmentalists in this management to find adequate solutions to the problems of the Sienese and of Tuscany in general. For the CIA, Arci Caccia and ANLC it should be the presidents of the Territorial Hunting Areas to propose solutions and initiatives.
A specific invitation was addressed to the representatives of the associations in the Sienese ATCs, that is take action with great determination to protect the interests of the hunting and agricultural world. The meeting with Remaschi is considered urgent to understand what the intentions of the Region are, otherwise there is a risk of a further period of stagnation which would be unbearable for agriculture, hunting and the environment.
