Fabio Fridge, president of the regional section of Veneto ofNational Free Hunting Association, complained about some anomalies in the interpretation and application of the legislation currently in force in the province of Venice. In particular, there would be a worsening compared to the other Veneto provinces as regards the sanction system.
The handbook of the Venetian Provincial Police includes leaflets tied by the legs between uses for calling blinded, maimed or winged live birds. We are talking about the letter "r" of the first paragraph ofarticle 21 of the National Hunting Law. Furthermore, despite the Region's notes on the marking of the garments on the hunting card (the moment in which the specimen is collected by the hunter counts), the Provincial Police of Venice would have contested the violation even after the garment would not have been collected within a reasonable time from killing.
Frigo therefore asked for clarification on these behaviors: the Veneto Region could harmonize the application of the sanctioning discipline, which in any case is rather for the president clear in wording. Libera Caccia Veneto could protect its shareholders in the event that there should be other disputes about the supervisory agents.
