The political debate in recent weeks and the burning issues on relaunching the country's economic recovery seem to have accelerated the date for future regional administrative elections. Probably, already in the middle of September, the electoral rounds could be held, therefore the timing of this end of term, seem to shorten considerably. To date, in our regional reality, we can express satisfaction for the results obtained and for the resolutions recently approved by the The Tuscan Regional Authority. The Hunting Calendar, the Selection Hunt, the withdrawal in derogation of the Starling, certainly represent concrete results for all hunters.
However, it should be remembered that in these last weeks of activity of the Regional Council and the Regional Council, some important needs remain open that must necessarily be filled. The commitments undertaken, require a work of continuous comparison with the various stakeholders, the ATCs and the Region, to complete as soon as possible a series of urgencies which, once overcome, will really allow certainties and prospects for the future in this hunting season at the gates.
Recently, Marco Salvadori, president of Federcaccia Toscana, represented on behalf of all the associations belonging to the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters atCouncilor Remaschi, the request for an urgent and necessary amendment to the resolution on the withdrawal by way of derogation from the transfer. As already highlighted in our previous press releases, this resolution provides for the "mandatory" use by the hunter of the electronic card to carry out this type of withdrawal.
A provision immediately contested by numerous enthusiasts. Notwithstanding our commitment to dissemination and support for the use of the digital hunting card by hunters, the decision to make it mandatory for the reversal appears unacceptable and acceptable. Therefore, a correction is needed by making the use of the card optional both in electronic form, especially to meet those who are less familiar with the use of App and smartphone. Trusting in a quick solution to this problem, we also want to highlight the further problems on which we ask for precise answers:
- Scheduling and methods of carrying out the qualification exams (hunting qualification, selection hunting, art 37 etc.);
- Regulation hunted wild boar hunt in non-suitable areas;
- Determinations on the conduct of the competitions e dog shows.
Finally, but not in order of importance, we want to draw attention to the no longer postponable objective of the approval in the Regional Council of the new Regional Law on Hunting. In the regional conference on Braccagni's hunting, this emerged as one of the central points of the agreement reached with all the participating categories and organizations. The time is now! Any further delay on the process already underway would be unacceptable. To each their own responsibilities!
