La Confederation of Tuscan Hunters announced the regional resolution confirming the wild boar sampling plan and the relative calendar in non-suitable areas as regards this territory. The structure of the plan was confirmed, as the data showed that it is imbalance in the abatements in selection between the various classes, it was within the maximum annual quantities by sex and age class. The imbalance is motivated by the limits imposed by ISPRA on the female level.
Here's why in this 2019 it was decided to focus more attention on female specimens. The Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research highlighted the difficulty in correlating the damage with the vocation of the areas, but these same damages refer almost exclusively to those not suitable. This is why the withdrawals in the latter affect the total populations directly.
Other critical issues were raised regarding the allocation of posed for hunting wild boar in hunt: the position of the posts 100 meters outside the designated areas was justified by the need to carry out the hunting activity in safety, since the visibility between hunter and hunter must be fundamental for the shot. La resolution was approved by unanimous votes, with the selective withdrawal period in non-suitable areas which is between 1st January and 31st December.
