The provincial section of Venezia ofVenetian Hunters Association (ACV) has decided to write to the environmentalists who are working on the cleaning of the banks of the Osellino canal, to be precise along the salt marsh, in addition to the Island of Campalto (always in the Venetian Lagoon). The reason is early, these operations have a noble end, but the intervention of ecologists would be causing considerable damage. Simply put, the cleanup would wreak havoc on the den of avifauna.
The nests destroyed in this way are those of the fish and also, consequently, of the entire aquatic fauna. Environmentalists would like then create a cycle path along the river, work that would make it necessary to mow the banks themselves up to the water level. For the Venetian hunters they would lose the Germans and the slowdowns that are precisely in the hatching phase.
The appeal was therefore addressed to the WWF and other associations in order to avoid cleaning, since it would nullify the hunting ban in the period in which the animals reproduce. ACV finally demanded a monitoring of the territories before carrying out such operations: the Metropolitan City Police she was invited to intervene and avert what are real massacres.
