Waiting for the National government substantially reduce, as required by our Association (ACR), the government grant tax to be paid by hunters for the hunting season 2021/2022, given that the hunters, after paying hefty licensing fees, were prevented or severely limited in the exercise of the hunting activity during the hunting season 2020/2021 due to the restrictions and prohibitions imposed by government decrees related to the spread of COVID-19, the Association for Rural Culture asks the Italian Regions to issue a rule that reduces at least 70% the regional concession fees that are borne by the hunters for the hunting season 2021/2022, a decision that can be taken autonomously by the Regions as it is a matter of their exclusive competence.
In this moment of particular economic, employment and social difficulty, many hunters are forced to decide whether to renounce to renew their hunting license given the high amount of government concession fees and regional concession fees, which are added to the quotas for access to Territorial Areas of Hunting and to the Alpine Districts (Hon.Sergio Berlato - President of the Association for Rural Culture ACR)
