The Committee "Yes, let's abolish hunting", after having admitted the foreseeable failure of their senseless referendum offensive, seems willing to "continue to fight hunters and those who protect personal interests, both in politics, in the industrial and commercial apparatuses, and between the media and the same animal welfare and environmental associations". Therefore, the violent internal struggle between the various components of the anti-hunt galaxy continues, which has seen the main national associations bluntly condemn thereferendum initiative judged not only unrealistic but also profoundly wrong precisely as regards the dismantling of a legislative system such as law 157/92.
A now outdated law that we have always felt full of serious mistakes and heavy injustices towards hunters and which, today more than ever, need a profound and no longer postponable review, not a total cancellation as foreseen by the absurd proposal for a referendum. There Court of Cassation, having deemed more than 34% of the signatures to be irregular (almost 180.000 out of the 520.000 collected), he anticipated the ordinance scheduled for mid-January and firmly rejected the totally unscientific proposal of a recollected and improvised committee that has not gathered consensus among the Italians who are now tired of similar anti-hunt regurgitations which, once more, clearly show their ideological roots typical of an animalist fundamentalism which our country certainly does not need.
Trashed, therefore, this umpteenth and unreasonable offensive, the Free Hunt urges not to let your guard down and recommends to all its members and to all Italian hunters an increasingly responsible and ethical behavior towards not only the environment and fauna but also all citizens who, for various reasons, enjoy our wonderful nature so rich in biodiversity (Source: ANLC).
Hi Passion Hunt, I am a traditionalist hunter I have a hunting license since 1974 (as well as going with my father) I do not know if I will be able to go hunting more because of my pathology (3 interventions with stend) but I would like to add that I do not have never accepted people who disturb others in things that do not touch them, who enter the life of others, these animal rights activists or environmentalists if they were good people would go to clean the mountains (as hunters do) to save animals in danger (as they do the hunters) and so on, they would not go to sneak into the lives of others, they are probably paid to disturb but ... the mistake is made even by those who give them power, they ALL have an interest in doing it, the thing I think, is that hunters should defend themselves as they do, maybe it's a bit risky… but eye x eye and go.
