ANUU Migratoristi publishes the latest report of the migratory pass of turdidae and other bird species in the area of the municipality of Marradi in the province of Florence.
Also for 2012, as has been the case for several years now, the ANUUMigratorists Section of Marradi (FI) has published the report relating to autumn migration in the municipal area. The editors of the interesting bulletin, sponsored by the municipality of Marradi and the Province of Florence, and which in this last issue has been completely renewed in graphics and layout, are Roberto Randi, President of the Group, Marco Catani, the Secretary, and Alberto Baldassarri, an active associate.
The publication covers an important aspect of the hunting culture of the Tuscan territory and analyzes the species and the periods of passage during the year. A detailed yearbook edited by passionate people. The report lists some huntable species such as the Turdidae, the Wood Pigeon and the Woodcock, and their presence is analyzed during the migration days with the relative comments and considerations.
This is accompanied by a detailed account of the group's social activity and the interesting territorial survey conducted by President Randi on the presence of the hunting lodges and their history handed down over the years. In addition, a small chapter dedicated to the ringing activity carried out at the Castello di Gamberaldi facility and a curious article dedicated to the protectors of hunters have been included.
An applause and thanks, therefore, to the associates of Marradi, hoping that this work can be an example for other groups of enthusiasts throughout the national territory, underlining that, since memories fade, only what you write remains over time.
