The regional section of the Toscana ofArch Hunting wrote to the Region on the Environmental Impact Assessment to which the fixed hunting stalks that fall within the Natura 2000 sites. The construction of the huts is allowed if they do not involve the permanent alteration of the places, are made of wood, are anchored to the ground without foundation works and have no equipment for residential use. The Regional Council can foresee cases of exclusion from the VIncA procedure.
For example, the interventions for the construction of new hunting lodges are included, provided that they are carried out in the period 15 August - 1 March and that their exact location has been foreseen in the wildlife-hunting planning in force. In preparing the resolution, the characteristics of these artifacts, which by their nature have a very low or no impact on the environment, were not taken into account. These are small-sized structures, comparable, for example, to structures derogated from the point "e" of Annex A of Resolution 119/2018 such as pergolas, gazebos, garden furniture and small artifacts with accessory functions simply placed or anchored to the ground.
Ultimately, fixed hunting stalks are structures that can fully fall under the provisions of the law as they are not capable of determining significant effects on the species and habitats of Natura 2000 sites nor on the conservation objectives of the same. For Arci Caccia, a modification of the resolution would avoid a bureaucratic burden and completely unnecessary costs in light of the characteristics of these structures mentioned above.
